That's not the beginning of the end
That's the return to yourself
The return to innocence.
Love - devotion
Feeling - emotion
Love - devotion
Feeling - emotion
Dont be afraid to be weak
Dont be too proud to be strong
Just look into your heart my friend
That will be the return to yourself
The return to innocence
.
If you want, then start to laugh
If you must, then start to cry
Be yourself don't hide
Just believe in destiny
Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence
.
That's not the beginning of the end
That's the return to yourself
The return to innocence
.
Don't care what people say
Follow just your own way
Follow just your own way
Don't give up, don't give up
To return, to return to innocence.
If you want then laugh
If you must then cry
Be yourself don't hide
Just believe in destiny.

Sometimes I've been looking for someone...
Then I find her, only to lose her,
And then I start searching again.
But I know, that she'd always be watching over me.
When you were near, I was overwhelmed by your presence,
You filled the emptiness in my heart,
When you went far away, out of sight, out of reach,
I felt lost, I got scared, I didn't know what to do.
I remember those days,
The days we spent sitting under that great oak tree,
The nights we spent gazing at the stars above,
Those were wonderful times... beautiful smiles and joy.
We were young and immature then,
We embarrassed ourselves in many situations,
But then we grew, and we matured over time,
But as our understanding of things increased, so did our love.
Our dreams were intertwined,
The things we did were in perfect unison,
We knew that it would all be fine in the end,
And our hopes were floating... floating...
There were times of tears and times of laughter,
When the hard times seemed to bring the whole world crashing down,
But nothing could bring either of us down,
All we needed was each other.
Our love will always be as strong as the mountains,
It will always be gentle as the breeze, as graceful as swans,
Everything we did together was unforgettable,
As nothing can take your place in my heart.
The memories have been engraved in my heart,
Even if I had a choice to change one thing in life,
I wouldn't and couldn't change anything,
For YOU make it perfect.

Even though I personally feel that Valentine's Day is kinda overrated at times, there's no harm in making your girl feel special today. Just like we have Father's and Mother's Day, why not let it be a day which we celebrate with the loves of our lives.
Just remember that it is not limited to this day alone, but each and every day.
Make it special for her.
Happy Valentine's Day.

Taylor Swift - Our Song
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says, "Baby is something wrong?"
I say, "Nothing I was just thinking
How we don't have a song" and he says
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tappin' on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said Amen
Asking God if He could play it again
I was walking up the front porch steps
After everything that day
Had gone all wrong or been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well, on my way
To my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tappin' on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date man, I didn't kiss her and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said Amen
Asking God if He could play it again
I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song
'Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
'Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date man, I didn't kiss him and I should have
And when I got home, 'fore I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again
Play it again, oh, yeah, oh, oh, yeah
I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I wrote down our song

I feel like I've lost a good friend...

I've been writing and re-writing, editing and re-editing for at least 7 times already. I'm taking no chances on this at all. Not gonna lose this good chance in front of me anymore.
I'm full of hope now!
-Hope for a good future!
-Hope for myself getting into SMU. It's a tough journey, but I'm trying my best to survive through it.
-Hope I don't get disappointed again.
-Hope that more doors will open for me!
-Hope and more hope!
Haha.
Just finished my last edit (not final), and sent it for vetting... well, I think I got carried away and wrote too much!? Exceeded the 300-word limit by 96. Which would make an eternity of editing considering that its 33% more work that I have to remove. Woo.....
