The Song

Friends

How far would you go for your friends?

I've learnt, maybe not to take things at their face value, or what they seem to be, cos most of the time they don't end up being correct.

What we see from the outside may not be what is on the inside, and it's through true friendship that we'll be able to understand how another is feeling; his emotions, thoughts and many other things that aren't shown on the outside.

The test of the strength of friendship, or rather, tests, will always come our way, undermining the bonds and trusts we have created and moulded... it always seems that something trivial can really shake the foundations of the very basis of trust we have in each other... maybe a wrong thought, a wrong word, or a wrong action... or maybe even a misinterpretation of them...

After all, it's always the people closest to you whom you misunderstand the most, and it's the same people whom you always find yourself getting into conflicts with most often.

WHY?

Simply because you're spending most of your time with them, and that's all that matters.

Fix You + Asia Conference

I think this is one of the best songs ever written.

Coldplay - Fix You

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home,
And ignite your bones,
And I will try to fix you,

High up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Asia Conference 2008 has concluded. Things have been done, and there were so many lessons that I've taken back with me.

I guess the fact is that many of us are really going to miss the times we spend together queueing, and the fellowship that we had throughout the past few days. I agree, that the hectic days, which were packed till the brim, coupled with the Expo location did take a toll on our sleeping hours.

But with that, I'm really glad that we've all stuck together throughout this period, and I've seen people doing so many wondrous things. Even though we were tired in our bodies, the energy just flowed through us each and every time we were together.

Just like Ps. A R Bernard mentioned,

"Transform the people, who will in turn transform the place."

Go out into the world, change the people and IMPACT THE WORLD!

Matt 28:19 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Have been practically slogging it out the past few days.
One day upon another of busyness.
Wonder how things are really going on along for the others.

Sometimes sitting down at home just doesn't get you where you want to go, both literally and figuratively.
Spending my time planning how to think, and then, thinking how to plan...

That's life for now.

Anyway, life's also full of countdowns.

For those who haven't yet realised, yeah 2009's on the way.
Less than 2 months. LEFT.

Well...
Doors have been closed, yet ahead, more doors open.
Maybe it's time to shift my focus and sight towards something brand new?

And...
Tis' the season to be JOLLY!
Christmas on the way!

One more thing...
LLL.
Love Living Life.
