Signing off.

Ash signing off. Cya all great pple out there in 2 weeks! Happy CNY to all!

Off.

Guess it's another 8 hours before I leave home for enlistment. Time has passed by so fast. The going ons from Christmas and New Year's Eve are still replaying themselves in my head. It just seems like it all occured yesterday.

To those souls who have a weak stomach, please do not read on?

I've decided to indulge, and by indulge, I mean I'm eating a whole pizza right now. Yeah, one of those frozen and ready-to-eat ones, though I can't see why frozen = ready-to-eat... Bake them la!

I know some of you out there are already salivating, drooling, umm. Don't be gross? You must be wondering why I'm doing this just before enlistment, and thinking that I shouldn't be eating unhealthy food blah blah... AND WASTE A WHOLE PIZZA? NO WAY!

12 days to CNY... another time of more indulgence? Haha. Well, I guess that will come later... I just have to go through the 1st 2 weeks in camp 1st. I'm starting to think that I'll enjoy it. Hope I didn't overpack, or worse still, underpack...

Well, today seriously passed by very, very fast. Actually, yesterday...

Wonder what else I haven't done... can't think of anything, just yet.

Guess these past few weeks between the As and NS, I've done what I wanted to do and said what I wanted to say. No regrets.

To everyone out there, enjoy yourselves k? Won't have Ashley-monster around lol.

I'll be back before you even know it.

Life is like a breeze.

3 days.

3 Days? So much, yet so little time. Guess it's finally time for me to experience a brand new lifestyle. Whoopie. Hahas.

High.

Another great day.

Surprise surprise. Had a great Grp A PM + CGM today. Headed down to BPP with the CG for lunch later on, and we broke THE RECORD. 1st time we saw more than 10 members for fellowship after CGM haha.

Got great gifts too from them. It was "celebrate Ash's coming enlistment day" as well. The reminder is that it's on 25/01. Got 2 great cards and a great gift as well. The gift, "Disciplines of a GODLY MAN", by R. Kent Hughes. Wow! Thank you all man!

Went for an all out fun session after that with Triton, Yunting, Lava and Samuel at CSC. Arcade + LAN + Bowling + Talk crap. What more can one ask for? Had a Daytona competition with Yunting. We drew at 2-2. Come on gal, 1 MORE! Though I won her at InitialD, and it was my 1st time xD.

Enough said, I'm still waiting for that special miracle to happen to me. I don't know when, but I'm hoping for it. FAITH!

I'll walk in wisdom and instruction, and live a life of honesty and humility.

Cheers.

Flabby.

Haha.

I'm happy today.

Had a fun day.

Met up with Chao Chung at 12.30pm then went to makan at Funan 1st. Had Subway for lunch. Wooo. Went to look at laptops after that. Found Joel and chatted with him for a while. Talked quite a bit of crap while CC looked at laptops.

Headed down to Compasspoint after that. Walked around also, and I found Luke at Life Bookstore. Found out that they're closing down as of next Tuesday... sad isn't it? Haiz.

Yunting found us later on and we headed down to her house.

Did 5 things for her.

1. Audition Patch
2. Warcraft III
3. TV
4. Star Mahjong
5. Msnmsgr.exe

SHE OWES ME! WAHAHAHAHA!

Was a fun day overall. Guess I really owe it to the both of them as well...

THANKIES!

Enlistment in 6 days.

Doh.

Skin

Finally got pissed off editing my old blogskin and changed it.

Finally.

Where's the love?

Had a crazy last night... fell asleep only at 4.30am and was wide awake by 7am. Really dunno what's going wrong with my mind.

Anyway, I received an SMS from CMPB yesterday reminding me about enlistment on the 25th. It read like this, "S88******, Youe enlistment date is on 25/01/08. Your reporting unit is TRAINING LIST BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 2. Msg from CMPB." So nice of them ya?

I think I'm gonna spend the next few days at home rotting again, thinking about more and more stuff, until it finally dawns on me that I have to head down to Beach Rd to get some essential army supplies. Well, I'm still daunted by the stupid bus and train fares. Doesn't seem a great idea to keep on going out, not when transport costs are like $10/day out.

There are so many more things that I actually want to do now, which I would have done if not for the darned transport costs. Haiz. I'm feeling really crappish cooped up at home now. What else can I do?

Anon.

Just wanted to type this out.

Faith in excellence, excellence in faith.

HEE!!

Tomorrow is Saturday! Lalala!
Finally can get outta the house.
REJOICE!
I'm so gonna do so many thing tomorrow... have been rotting at home. Real bad.

My schedule...
Not confirmed yet.

Sigh.

Complication within happiness...

Pfft.

Life's sweet moments.

Ever wonder how the littlest things we do in life really bring a smile to others?
Can't fathom how a small, random, insignificant act can really make someone's day?
There's a story for everything.
What matters most is that whatever we do, it comes from the heart.
After all, it's the thought that always counts.

Though it has been a horrible past 3 days, yeah, today will be the 4th day I'm stuck at home already, it has been a good time for me to spend more time of my thoughts and feelings, and just think about the many different ways that I can brighten up someone else's day.

That for one, is one of my goals for 2008. To bring a smile to others' faces, in whatever way I can.

:)

Realisation.

Just realised something. My blog has no photos.

Have been telling myself to post photos, post photos, post photos. Never ever got around to doing it.

Haha.

Wonder when I'll finally post the 1st pic.

--

Haha.

Crap

Nothing to do at home, don't feel like going out.

Costs are rising man.

Has been a boring past 3 days, no one to talk to also. Except Suijin who's constantly disturbing me. Heh. To all students out there. Study hard!

I'm so totally bored that I'm giving this offer for the next 2 weeks. Anyone who needs help with studies just look for me. Just need to pay my transport fare enough liao. And perhaps some snacks, drinks... Ha! Transportation cost will do.

I can't imagine that I'm actually rotting in front of the computer, especially when I used to love sitting in front of it.

--

Bones.

Faint

Today was fun and boring at the same time.

Badminton after PM was fun yeah. Although we (Triton, Suijin, Samuel, Lava and myself) were 45 mins late. Took one bus after another and those guys were just laughing their asses off at me having to pay adult fare for everything. OH MY GOSH! I just realised that I forgot to tap out from the 965 journey home. ARGH!!! Oh man. Stupid la.

Seriously, having to pay adult fare really sucks. Big time.
Its $5 per day's journeys... Used to be $2 at the maximum...

Anyway, we ate and ate and ate today. Met up with Yu Ting at Marina Square together with Yunting and Samuel later on.

Was seriously pangseh-ed at Swensen's, and was super paiseh also. Samuel and me sat in there for like 20 mins without ordering anything, then everyone suddenly had to leave. Ended up sneaking out. So bad, so bad.

At least talking with Buddy cheered me up later on haha. She's DISGUSTING! (forgive me, I just had to post it)

WAHAHAHAHAHA!

Baking brownies now. To those who're gonna eat them tomorrow, ENJOY!

--

Red.

So crapped up.

Rotting at home.
Stupid bus fares.
Super big deterrent.
Nothing to do.
Seriously pissed off.
What to do?
Can't think now.
My brain's fried.
Ah whatever heck!
It doesn't matter.
CG this Saturday.
Followed by badminton.
Gonna enjoy myself.
Guess that's it.
Nothing to say.
Think I'll sleep.
Well, what else?

--

Three words rock.

Idle

Nothing to do at home. I'm so bored. Haiz.
And I have to pay adult fare for bus and train... SO EXPENSIVE!!!

--

Rotting.

Bacon and eggs

I'm blogging at close to 4am, and I'm not feeling tired at all... I'm thinking of the bacon, eggs and sausages in the fridge now. Perhaps I should go for a cuppa lime + orange juice?

Crazy.

Life at its sweetest moments.

I was just thinking so much about life just now. Wonder how it is that we do so many things that make people unhappy throughout our lives, yet at the same time, we also do so many other things that make bring joy and laughter to others.

Believe that this is just part of life, and we should just sit back, take some time off and just smile. Nothing else, just smile. You might find it weird, but it's really true that when you're at peace with everything around you, you just find yourself becoming a happier person.

I once told someone that we should just pick some random day off the calender, and make it your day, other than your birthday of course. For me, Ashley's Day is on 30th June. Just choose a day, and make it a special day for yourself. Do everything you can to make yourself happy that day, and at the same time, make others around you feel comfortable. You can choose to indulge and splurge on a shopping cum eating spree, or you can just take some time off, with someone close to you, or with a group of friends, and just head to the beach or the nearby park and just chill out. After all, it's YOUR day!

It's then we can really taste the sweetness of life, through the fun, peace, love, joy and laughter around us.

I'm going to bring back music into my life this year. It's something I find special to me.

New Year and THANKS!

It's still 01/01/08 hahas. Well, since it's the New Year, there would be so many new things for us to do, and so many old things to remember.

After all, we should always look towards the future right? But we must also remember to look back to the past, and live the present. We have to realise our past mistakes and correct them, and to work on things that we have not completed, and also not forget that it's the present we live in.

Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU for a wonderful 2007 to a few people. Going to be very brief here as I've written it all somewhere else already.

My family for always being behind me during my ups and downs. I might have been super idiotic and absolutely horriblest at times, but well, you're all still here for me now.

Special people like Sharon, Jodie, Angel, Triton and Suijin for the many different things you have done for me throughout the last 6 months, when I may have gone through rough patches, and also for sharing your wisdom with me.

W146 for always being there for me no matter who, when, what, where, why and how. The fun we had in 2007 was so memorable! I'm sure 2008 will be more exciting!

W146 Grp A for the times we had together and for the things we have shared with each other the last 2 months we were together. Thank you so much Jodie, Liting and Yankai!

Char for being my 1st customer for my biscuits, and Gary for being numero uno for brownies, and to all the others who ordered them also. Hope you enjoyed them and order more! xD Kudos to Char for the entertainment I got from reading her blog.

Hardy for being a special friend these past year, and for the fun we had together.

Last but not least, Jesus, for always being faithful and loving towards me the whole year.

And to all those who have played a part in making 2007 a great year.

THANK YOU ALL!

How about you just grab a nice cold beer or drink for a toast? Hahas.

To everyone out there who has played a part in making 2007 a wonderful year for me, thank you soooooooooooooooooooooo much. Won't forget whatever you have done for me last year!
